Transformation

By the end of this 5S course, you’ll shift from reacting to clutter and hunting for tools to running a calm, visual, photo-ready workstation. You’ll build simple habits (labels, outlines, quick resets, micro-audits) that cut searching, reduce mix-ups, and surface issues early, so quality and flow improve without extra effort.

About 5S and and CIDS

CIDS, or the Continuous Improvement Development System, is a structured approach to building a robust business management system that is powered by a strong continuous improvement culture.

5S is embeddded into nearly every other core Lean tool, so it should come as no surprise that it is a part of the earliest phase that affects the entire company--Phase 3: Starting the Journey. Earlier phases are geared towards getting leaders on board.

With a solid understanding of 5S, leaders and frontline employees alike will gain a better understanding to use workplace organization and cleanliness to make processes more effective.
